My name is Robinton and I love to see Hope on her site and read about all the other Princes and Princesses. I'm already King around here, so I'd like to be a Prince of the month.

My story started when my humans wanted a kitten. They looked for a kitty that needed a good home and finally saw an ad in the paper. They brought me home when I was 7 weeks old. The lady told them I'm a Manx, so they read all about Manxes. I'm a "stumpy" meaning I have a little nub like a rabbit's tail.
I don't meow, I "eep". I make my humans throw things for me to fetch, just like a d*g. Only when I want to though, I don't obey like a d*g because I am King after all. I love water so much that I join my humans in the shower. I don't mind getting a little wet, but I still hate baths! Daddy says these things are normal for Manxes. But it's just my way of getting MY WAY.
I like being King but it's a lot of work. I had to let my humans know who's boss right away. They bought me a nice kitty tree to scratch on, but I insisted on scratching where I want to. Mom gets mad and threatens to have me declawed, but I just turn on the kitty charm so she would never really do it. Besides, I have to claw on the mattress corners to wake my lazy humans up in the morning - it's the first thing on my agenda. I don't mess up the pretty furniture in the living room though, after all my very own throne is there and it must be kept tidy for my royal presence.
Then there 's my brother and sister - I must constantly patrol to keep them out of my private locations, including my throne. I like my sister Khaki and I make her play with me even when she doesn't want to, I chase her and she gets really mad - heehee! That Daemon is another story, I don't get along with him. Mommy says we saved his life by adopting him so he can stay, but I don't have to like him.
I always knock over glasses of water that my humans leave lying around - I have to keep them on their toes.
I am daddy's boy and insist that he pets me as soon as he gets home from work. I get very upset if he is late, and yell at mommy until he gets home.
My humans pamper me by letting me get away with whatever I want, and letting us kitties sleep on the bed with them, even if it is a bit crowded. My advice for being pampered is to always look cute (not too hard when you're a kitty).
