I am Smokey Kitty and after much consideration, I've decided to purrsonally apply for the Princess of the Month. Since I AM the Princess around here, it seemed superfurlous. But those crowns you have are mighty purrty, hee hee.

I guess some might not think of me as pampurred since I'm an indoor/outdoor cat. From my purrspective, I think I've got the best arrangement. Why, just this morning I was able to apprehend the lizard that had been stalking meowmie each morning. She'd come out to the barn to pet me and there he'd be, right in her way. So today I was waiting. And when she walked in, he started running to get in her way and I got him. He was so distracted by where to run when meowmie came in that he didn't notice me watching him. And meowmie was so purroud. But then she quickly left to tend to her garden, I'm not sure why.

The humans cater to my every need, including the need to be left alone while I slumber the day away. But when I'm ready to play, I'll keep them up way past their bed time just cuz I'm so adorable. They'll be yawning and looking at the clock, but won't dare make me leave until I'm good and ready (and I've had a treat or three). They've made it clear that I am and always will be their Princess. But if you were to award me with that title, too, it would just be that much better.
