Hello. I am Miss Suzanna Marie Southpaw!
You can tell I am very special
right away because I have several names. I have my mom wrapped around my beautiful tail. I have a Master's Degree in Cute.
I am so very pampered. In fact, I have a web page detailing my
"Principles for a Pampurred Princess".
I have been
pampurred from the start. I was living at an animal rescue place. My mom came in but she said she was looking for a "Orange Tabby" boy. She told me "Yes, you are precious, but I have another girl kitty at home, and I am looking for a orange stripped boy."
Well, I went into my very cute mode. I leaned up against the side of the cage and slid down laying on my back with all of my paws curled up! She said she would think about it. Well I knew she couldn't forget about me!! And she didn't. The next day she walked in paid for me and home I went. We loved and curled together and fell in love that day.
Well, the years rolled by and I am the boss of the house. {Just ask Governor...LOL} She bought me a kitty tree for Christmas one year. It went all the way to the ceiling with a hidy hole at the top!! I loved my tree. That was before my injury, which was 2 years in September.
We had to take the kitty tree down, Dr. Mike said so, and I think Mom was more sad than me.
When I was in the hospital Mom came up twice a day and stayed long times with me. They call me their "miracle kitty" because most kitties don't survive such an injury, or recover as much as I have. At the hospital they even put me in a special room away from all the other patients. Now that is being pampered! You can read about my injury on my main web page.
Since then I am totally pampered. Mom worries about me all the time. Everyday we lay on the couch together and she rubs my belly, and she massages my legs, {because they were paralyzed} And when I am on the artroom table sleeping in my basket and wake up, she gets up and comes to put me on the floor. (I can do this myself..LOL) I sleep on the back of the recliner, and in my sleep my legs kick really hard, {because
of my injury} and I kept falling on the floor. So Mom put a big pillow and blanket for me to land on!!
Since my Mom is disabled too, she understands alot and takes very good care of me. She never gets mad when I pee on her, or fall in the litter box. She just takes me and cleans me up real nice. {So I don't feel embarrassed} She even scratches behind my ears real good because I can't reach with my back legs now.
Mom carries me like a baby laying on her arm {so does Dr. Mike} or on her shoulder. She even call me her "baby", and promises I will always be her baby. When she has been gone and comes home I meow and meow until she puts everything down and picks me up. She usually brings home chicken or fish for her dinner because she knows those are my
favorites!!
Purrs,
Miss Suzanna Marie Southpaw
