October 12, 2002- Hello!! Been trying to work more on the site the last couple weeks, now that the hassles (and work) of summer are finally gone.

If you enter any of the contests, and you get a pop-up ad, my apologies. It is NOT my doing. I hate pop-ups and would never put them our site. Bravenet, the web service that hosts the email forms, are the sneaky culprits. (After you hit the submit button, you are just for a split second at their server before being redirected here, and that's when they are sneaking them in). I realize Bravenet is a free service, and have used them for a variety of things for years, and have been overall satisfied w/ them. I know they have to advertise to keep their services free, so I understand the banner ads that they implement in their services, but I think sneaking pop-ups in so they appear on their users sites, not their own, is going a little too far. So I am currently looking into creating my own forms from this server. So til I can get it figured out, please be patient.
Some of you may have noticed our monthly quizlet is gone. Yes, another internet company bit the dust. Beseen, where our quizlet was hosted shut their doors. We are looking into other places to get a another poll back up our site.
Please note the URL to our message board has changed. We were having too many problems w/ the old one, so we now have a new board at http://www.voy.com/113000/.

The outdoors is dangerous for them all the time (and I personally think all kitties should be indoor kitties, but I realize not everyone agrees w/ me), but this time of year is especially dangerous, so bring them in and keep them safe!
July 25, 2002- I finally updated Hope's Photo Album and Fx Photogallery with some new photos...it's been ages since I added new pics. We got a digital camera a few months ago, so the new pics are a lot cleaner and clearer. Enjoy!
July 17, 2002- Hi all! I just wanted to jot down this quick note to those who plan on sending Hope a gift for her upcoming birthday.
In the past she has received many absolutely wonderful gifts and has really enjoyed them. It warms our hearts to have so many furriends that care enough to remember her on her special day. And although the thought is very much appreciated, this year we are asking for no gifts. E-cards or paper cards would be great, but please no gifts. After all these years, Princess Hope's toybox is overflowing, and at her age (15-20 years old now!), she doesn't play like she used to.........and being the pampered princess she is, has everything she wants or needs.:)
Instead we are asking those who planned on sending a gift to please donate it to your local animal shelter. It breaks our hearts there are so many kitties without loving homes and we would rather see the shelter kitties get some little gifties.
After all, it is the thought that counts anyway, right? Thanks so much.
June 9, 2002- What's new? A whole lotta of nothing, I am afraid.
I am sorry to say I haven't updated the site in a while. Life has just been too busy, and I am finding it nearly impossible to find time to be online these days.
I AM trying to manage to put up a new Hope's Kitty Caption Contest for the month right now, but I will have to temporarily suspend the featured club member (the Pampered Princess or Prince of the Month) for the time being...sorry. ..it takes a lot of time to dress those kitties in their crown jewels, and I just can't do it right now.
I know some kitties are wondering about the club........We are NOT closing Hope's Club! Just putting things on hold for now.
Hope is very angry with me for neglecting her site, I think she wants to fire me as her human! We would also like to apologize for unanswered emails, because we love to hear from friends and visitors to our site, but we average nearly 100 emails a day, so it's very hard to keep up (especially when you can't check your mail daily).
So, I just wanted to let you know what is going on at the moment, hopefully things will calm down soon and we can spend more time here and can get caught up. Thanks for your patience. Check back in a day or two for the new Caption Contest!
